History
November 3, 1963 saw Zion's first service held in a rented storefront on Muldoon Road. Ground breaking ceremonies were held on the 2.5 acre site, where Zion now stands, on July 12, 1964. By New Year's Day 1965, the congregation had begun worshipping in the basement of the church building. Dedication services for Zion were held on March 14, 1965. The parsonage was completed in 1968. Zion facilities were expanded with the building of an education wing in 1974.
